flexible polyester monofilament thread is soft strong and

Bobbin Challenge Results:
Here at the Embroidery Etcetera we face
all new ideas like a challenge. I personally was determined
to prove that using pre-wound bobbins was a waste of money
and showed out utter laziness! So I began by selecting
identical pre-wound bobbin thread and cone bobbin thread. I
wound MANY bobbins to start. I choose the same embroidery
design and stitched it on the same machine. Here are the
results after one day of testing:
Self-Wound Bobbins:
Stitches 3 designs with each bobbin;
Pre-Wound Bobbins:
Each bobbin stitches 9 designs.
Well then I had to calculate the cost of this whole dilemma
and found that winding the bobbins myself actually cost more
not to mention my time in winding the bobbins and the extra
time I lost to changing out the bobbins in the machine more
frequently.
So, here I am eating my humble pie! |
